Morning sunlight on the Loire River

I want to open the blog with a view of the Loire River taken very close to Tours. In winter, the light is so inspring in the morning.

About this blog

This blog is a diary collecting different works inspired by various subjects from still life to landscapes. Influenced by the Frensh Impressionist movement, I try to build my work on the color and the light. Located in Tours, in the heart of the Loire Valley and its well-known mildness, there are numerous opportunities to practice plein air painting.

Ce blog est une sorte de carnet de route rassemblant les travaux effectués à partir de sujets aussi variés que des natures mortes ou des paysages. D'inspiration Impressionniste, j'aime particulièrement le travail autour de la couleur et de la lumière.

Basé à Tours, au cœur de la Vallée de la Loire, bercé par la légendaire douceur tourangelle, les prétextes pour peindre en plein air sont nombreux.

Séduit par le principe du daily painting, qui rassemble un nombre de plus en plus important de peintres attachés à pratiquer régulièrement et à partager leurs travaux, j'ai décidé de créer ce blog.
